Description
Orange Teriyaki Salmon: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (approximately 6 ounces each)
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening sauce)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for 15 minutes for enhanced flavor.
- If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Alternatively, place the salmon on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the salmon is cooking, pour the marinade into a small saucepan. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and add it to the saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill or oven and drizzle with the thickened sauce. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Transfer the salmon to a serving platter, ready to enjoy!
